Author

Francisco de la Calle. Engineer, linguist and lecturer at San José State University, California. He is the author of two novels, two theatre plays, and several scripts. Currently he teaches in the Spanish Program at San José State University, California.

Michael (Mike) Conniff. Historian of Latin America and founder of the Global Studies program at San José State University, California. He earned his Ph.D. at Stanford University and specialized in modern Brazil and Panama.
