Casa Feliz
When the brutal front line approaches the psychiatric sanatorium Casa Feliz (Happy House), the staff abandon the institution. The patients most capable of caring for others take responsibility.
Joined by the cook (the only staff member who refused to leave) and her two daughters, they transform the abandoned asylum into a fragile community built on compassion rather than fear.
At its heart, Casa Feliz is a quest for identity through agency. We are our mission in a world that is indifferent to us. We are ambassadors.

Performed live by an ensemble of actors before an invited audience, the production is expected to premiere in November 2026 on the San José State University campus.
