Casa Feliz

During a recurring civil war, the isolated sanatorium Casa Feliz (Happy House) finds itself on the front line. Three patients are planning to escape the conflict.
One year earlier, a brutal militia “selection” spared only a handful of patients, leaving the survivors to live with the trauma of wondering why fate chose them. Haunted by survivor’s guilt and the sin of omission, they struggle to find philosophical answers to their suffering.
At dawn, after the staff abandon the institution, the three most capable patients decide to care for those who are more vulnerable.
Joined by the cook—the only staff member who refuses to leave—and her two daughters, they transform the abandoned asylum into a fragile community built on compassion rather than fear.
